Thank god for technology! No seriously, that’s how we met! i guess you can say “typical millennials” but I am so happy I swiped! Almost 5 years ago Jordan and I met online and finally after a few weeks we decided to meet in person. Our first date we met at his apartment since I just worked a 12hr shift and drove 2.5 hours to see him. He made me fish dip from scratch! Of course I’m allergic to most seafood! Lol but I tried it and it wasn’t bad. Thank god the next date was at a restaurant so we didn’t have to worry. Multiple dates, vacations and meeting his family and my family we moved in together!. The past 5 years has flown by and each day we learn more about one another. We have grown individually and as a family. Jordan has become such a great role model in Lily’s life and I am so grateful for that. THE PROPOSAL! I am one of the hardest people to surprise! Poor Jordan put so much effort in this day and I am so grateful for it! He planned a long weekend in the White Moutains Of New Hampshire. It was a beautiful fall weekend and he invited two friends up to join us. We drove the beautiful scenic Path and made a few stops on the outlook areas. We then came to The Rocky Gorge and decided to walk a path. It was so beautiful, there was a light dusting of snow on the ground, a waterfall and a bridge. Jordan walked out onto the rocks which I hesitated at first! My friend pushed me into going down on the rocks. As I was looking around taking all the natural beauty around me in, Jordan got on one knee. He asked me to grow old with him! I was so shocked and over the moon! Of course I said YES!!! I was overwhelmed with joy. When we got back to the car, there jordan handed me something that made me cry. He had asked Lily if he could marry her mom. The paper he handed me was a picture of them and the ring! So now here we are! Planning our wedding and over the moon to spend the rest of our lives together.
