Jeff and I met in band my freshman and his sophomore year of high school in 2009. We became best friends and began to date January 5th 2012, and fell in love very quickly. We dated for a few years and then decided to separate in college because we were young and were trying to figure out life and what we wanted from it. After figuring out life a bit more, we reconnected and rekindled the love and connection we knew was there all along. The rest is history!

Jeff and I got engaged at Coal City Area Club, which is our absolute favorite place to relax and unwind. It has been a place where we have gone camping and fishing for many years, a place we have always considered to be our “get away”. It was a cold snowy day and Jeff and I decided to go to the area club for a drive to observe all the snow and nature. As we were driving around we pulled up to our favorite fishing spot and he suggested that we get out of the car to absorb the beauty of the snow covered lake. We got out of the car and were standing there taking in the view, and he began to tell me how much he loved me, and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Then he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I began to burst in to tears and I said yes! We’re so excited to spend the next chapter of our lives with you.
