FAQs

The Wedding Website of Elizabeth McKelvy and Jamison Cunneff
Question

What are the customs requirements?

Answer

All passengers are required to fill out an E-Ticket or paper form when entering or exiting the Dominican Republic. You can access the E-Ticket application here, which you will need when you check in at the airport: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/Home/

Question

How do we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

We recommend that you book an airport transfer through the resort once you have your flight information. They will pick you up in the airport and bring you right to the hotel lobby. To set up the airport transfer once you have your flight details, contact Casa de Campo's vacation planning department via phone at 844-277-4046, or by email at vacationplanner@ccampo.com.do.

Question

How do we travel throughout the resort?

Answer

This is one of our favorite parts of Casa de Campo: each room comes with a complimentary golf cart, which you may use to travel anywhere throughout the property. Complimentary shuttles are also available via the concierge. We are providing transportation to and from the Altos de Chavon area on the wedding day -- more details are below and on the Schedule page.

Question

What is the bus schedule on the wedding day?

Answer

The church and reception area are not easily accessible by golf cart, so we will be providing transportation from the main lobby to the church (and back after the reception). Busses will depart from the main lobby starting at 2:00 pm, and the last bus departs at 2:30 pm. Return trips from the reception will begin an hour before the reception ends, and drop-off will be back at the lobby. You are welcome to park and leave your golf cart at the lobby while you are at the wedding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, resort cocktail! Google helps with this one. Women: fun dresses, sets, skirts, or jumpsuits. Men: shorts are fine! No ties or sport coats, etc. necessary. For the wedding, semi-formal (but ties aren't necessary). Color encouraged! Please note the Altos de Chavon area of Casa de Campo, where the church and reception venue are, is cobblestone, so plan shoes accordingly! We STRONGLY recommend a block heel or flat sandal. Please be careful!

Question

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Answer

The choice is yours! You can select whether you'd would like to enjoy a "room only" experience or an all-inclusive experience when booking your reservation. The all-inclusive option will include most Casa de Campo restaurants and room service, as well as drinks. It also includes the following activities: unlimited horseback riding, tennis, and non-motorized water sports, and one round of skeet shooting. For those who do not choose all-inclusive, payment is a la carte. We suggest booking the all-inclusive package — we found it well worth it! And yes, the food is actually good!

Question

Can we stay at another hotel or resort, or book through Airbnb, and still visit Casa de Campo for the wedding festivities?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Casa de Campo requires all wedding guests to stay on the resort's property and to book their reservations through the link provided on our "Travel" page. The resort is very strict about this. We know this may be less than ideal, but we promise that your stay at Casa de Campo will be worth it!

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Children are invited to the welcome party, but we have decided to keep our wedding day adults only. Babysitters and nannies are available through the resort.

Question

When do I need to RSVP and book my accommodations?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by July 1, 2025. Our room block is open until August 1, 2025, so please book your accommodations before then!

Question

Will Relish and Arnie be there?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. And yes, they are upset about it.
