Maid of Honor
Lara and Elizabeth have been best friends since their sophomore year of high school through Mattawan's foreign exchange program. Sleepovers with Lara quickly went from one night to three, eventually leading to Lara moving in with the Kuch family halfway through her first year abroad. In the blink of an eye, the Kuch family realized that Lara was the piece they never knew was missing-- which prompted her to return for a second year of the foreign exchange program, living with the Kuchs. Although the two have lived on separate continents for the last eight years, both girls have made conscious efforts to visit one another and maintain their friendship, despite the distance between them.
Best Man
Josh is Jacob's older brother and lifetime friend. Despite the 7-year age gap, Josh has maintained a significant friendship with the groom. Josh has been more than a brother, he has been a mentor and teacher to Jacob in every area of his life. Whether it be sports, school, or important life lessons, Jacob has looked up to and valued every area Josh has made an impact in. The two have enjoyed sports, music, video games, and much more together throughout their childhood and adulthood. Living across the country from each other, the two maintain contact almost daily and continue their competitive friendship through monthly game nights.
Bridesmaid
Marissa is far more than Jacob's older sister-- she is the bride's favorite dance partner, confidant, and source of laughter. Since their initial introduction at Jacob's college graduation, the two of them have looked forward to every event and opportunity to spend time with one another (with Jacob finding out afterward)! Whether it is joint shopping trips in Florida or dancing the night away at Krueger family weddings, Elizabeth and Marissa have always found a way to laugh and enjoy every moment spent together. She is a treasure to all and the greatest sister-in-law a girl could ask for.
Groomsman
Griffin and Jacob have been best friend's and "brother from another mother" since they met in elementary school. After Jacob had moved from Michigan to Pennsylvania in 5th grade, the two continued their friendship by visiting each other during the summers. Needless to say, their friendship has grown through many seasons, as the two of them lived together throughout their 4 years at Western Michigan University. Griffin and Jacob enjoy every activity they do together, especially those that involve the outdoors. When these two get together, it is as if not a minute has passed.
Bridesmaid
Ironically, Elizabeth and Madison met on Jacob and Elizabeth's second date-- church at Radiant with sushi to follow. Over the last three years, the two have looked forward to moments spent together. Whether it be the two of them together or another double date with Jacob and Griffin, each moment spent together is a moment cherished. Madison has been more than a friend to Elizabeth-- she has been a role model, a source of laughter, and one of her most cherished friendships developed throughout the course of dating Jacob.
Groomsman
To simply label Isaiah as a cousin would be a disservice. Isaiah has been more than a cousin, he has been an "older brother", a mentor, and a friend above all. Isaiah and Jacob grew a strong bond when the two lived together for some time in high school. Since their adolescense, the two enjoy football, basketball, fishing, video games, and plenty of hours on the pool table together. Whenever Isaiah and Jacob get to see each other, they make sure not a minute is wasted.
Bridesmaid
Being the new kid is never fun, but the friendship Shay Glas brings makes it worthwhile. Elizabeth moved during the springtime of sixth grade after her dad took a new job in Michigan. It wasn't shortly after being introduced to Mrs. Fenders science class that Shay had gone out of her way to get to know the new girl-- who would have thought that one introduction would become one of the longer lasting friendships either them have had in their lifetime. It goes without saying that Shay Glas truly is the life of any party, loyal as the day is long and the person who will skip with you in the rain. She is a gift to all and the epitome of grace, humility and zest for life.
Groomsman
Jacob and Jack first met when Jacob was introduced to the whole Kuch family. Despite being a protective (younger) brother, Jack gave a warm welcoming to Jacob. Whenever Jacob gets the opportunities to be around the Kuch family, Jack always makes involvement by giving them an enjoyable time together. Jack and Jacob have created a strong bother-in-law connection through their jokes, game nights, and other hobbies they enjoy. As time progresses, Jacob looks forward to enjoying much more time with his new brother-in-law.
Officiant
There are three things you should know about Ramy Boghdadi: he is not afraid to make anyone laugh, is competitive beyond belief, and does not shy away from embracing his next, new adventure. Ramy is many things and more, but above all, Ramy has fully devoted his life to Christ, which is reflected in the way he treats friends, strangers and his approach towards life. He is far more than the couple's officiant or a close friend of the Kruegers, but a source of humor, humility, and an extended family member over the last 10+ years of friendship.
