We were set up on a blind date of sorts by Kelleigh and Andy Bossa in October of 2017. We were asked separately to join their family on a trip to Farmer Charley's Kackleberry Farm. Immediately we both had concerns about joining them for a kid's corn maze and looking like creepers. But Kelleigh and Andy did not give up! They assured us that there might be someone there we might be interested in meeting. So we both took a chance on looking like a creeper and met each while attending a visit to the farm with their family. We hit it off instantly! Shortly after our visit to the farm we went on our first official date the the Toledo Museum of Art. We walked and talked a lot at the museum and discovered we had a lot in common! Although we did not take an interest in most of the art in the museum, we both decided we liked the functional art (antique furniture) that was displayed. After a few dates we decided we should meet each other's family. It wasn't until Liz met Jake's parents that we found out Liz works and is good friends with Jake's aunt Jeanne! (Small world!) Jeanne called Liz congratulate us on dating while we were leaving Jake's parent's house. It was after that phone call with Jeanne that we decided to make it official! Dating was like a whirlwind. It was like getting to know someone that you had known your whole life! After year an a half of dating and spending most of our free time together, Jake proposed in April of 2019! One night after getting home from work Liz walked into the kitchen to greet Jake at the back door like she normally does when he gets home. But tonight Liz found Jake kneeling in the kitchen and holding a ring! Liz obviously said yes and here we are, getting married and anxiously waiting to celebrate or life together with our friends and families!
