It all started via an Instagram DM on September 3, 2018. Grayson was attempting to recruit Elizabeth for the intramural soccer team he was playing on because the captain at the time, Bryan (see "Wedding Party") said he was unable to DM another girl as he already had a girlfriend. Another stipulation made by the captain was that Grayson was not "allowed" to pursue Elizabeth or her roommate romantically because it would ruin their chances for getting either, or both, of them to play for their team. At first, Elizabeth agreed to play with Grayson and his team, then eventually backed out to play on another team. The season came and went. It wasn't until the next intramural season that they wound up on the same team, but by that point, numerous Snapchats back and forth, visits to each others' hometowns, dining hall dates, and more, had been enough for a mutual agreement to be made between them. They started dating on January 1, 2019 and seven years, two dogs, and one cat later, here we are.
