Technically, we first met in our 7th grade science class, but we didn't really hit it off until the summer before senior year of high school. Biz conveniently started going to "watch her friends" at tennis tryouts, and Glover happened to be there as well. We're pretty sure Biz was actually first to text Glover to hang out (although, it was so long ago, we can't really be certain). At the time he was busy with his bussing duties at the Boathouse, but after that, we were able to spend some time together, and the rest is history!
During what was hands down the strangest time of our lives Glover decided to pop the question! We had been self-isolating in Ann Arbor for a few months, and finally decided it was safe to head up to Traverse City for the weekend. Biz was invited over to Gary & Wendy's house for dinner. While Biz was getting ready to head over, Glover texted her about going down to the beach to look for petoskey stones (one of Biz's favorite pastimes) before dinner. Glover was adamant about going down to the beach right away, which made Biz a little suspicious. She started looking for rocks as usual, and Glover wandered around on the opposite side of the beach for a while, clearly NOT looking for rocks. As Biz was examining a stone, Glover got down on one knee, and presented her with an even prettier one, and a proposal of a lifetime!
