Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

All events—ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—will be at The Clubhouse at Galloping Hill Golf Course, 3 Golf Dr, Kenilworth, NJ 07033. The ceremony will be outdoors; the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors. Golf carts will be available to transport guests between the main building and the outdoor ceremony space. You can view the location in Google Maps via the "We're Getting Married" tab on our wedding website.

What if it rains?

Answer

The ceremony is planned outdoors. For inclement weather, the call is made two hours before the ceremony so the venue and vendors have time to transition to an indoor setup. Wedding attendants and venue staff will direct guests to the alternate space.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is free on-site parking.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 5:30 PM so you have time to take the golf cart (or walk) to the outdoor ceremony space. A seasonal refreshment station (fresh lemonade and iced tea) will be available as you mingle and wait for the ceremony to start. Guests should be seated by 5:45 PM, when the ceremony will begin promptly. Late arrivals may be asked to wait until an appropriate pause in the ceremony before being seated.

Our wedding will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at The Clubhouse at Galloping Hill Golf Course. Our wedding day’s schedule is: 5:45 PM – Ceremony (outdoors) 7:00 PM – Cocktail Hour (indoors) 8:00 PM – Reception (indoors), expected to conclude around 11:45 PM

Are there any special accessibility considerations?

Answer

Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible, and golf carts will be available for those who prefer not to walk. Please let us know in advance if you have specific accessibility needs.

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

We’re keeping our wedding day intimate, so we can only welcome the guests listed on your invitation. Anyone who is not invited or didn't RSVP by June 13 will be denied entry. We love your children, but the only children attending will be our flower girl and ring security, plus 2 special guests. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us celebrate this special day with our closest family and friends.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

A cash bar will be available for guests who would like to purchase alcoholic drinks. Guests will also enjoy complimentary signature drinks (Sangria & Mai Tai) along with a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. The bar will accept both cash and card payments.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We'll start with hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée. All entrees are gluten-free, with the exception of the vegetarian options. Vegan options are available upon request. Vegetarian guests can request a chef's selection vegan entree. If you have additional dietary restrictions, please indicate them in the optional comment section of your online RSVP.

Are there hotel recommendations nearby?

Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at nearby hotels for July 22–24, 2026. Visit the "Hotel Blocks" tab of our website for booking links and details. When calling to book, please mention the Farrell/Brown Wedding Room Block. Rooms are available at the group rate until June 22, 2026.

Can I request a song for the reception?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP on our wedding website, you’ll see an optional section where you can suggest a song you’d love to hear at the reception. We’re looking forward to celebrating with great music together, so feel free to share your favorite (clean version) songs with us.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony—please put away phones and cameras so everyone can be fully present. After the ceremony, guests are welcome to take photos and videos. Our photographer and videographer will also capture all the special moments (and we will share them with you)!
