FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & Guest." For families, it will list "(your name) & Family" or "The (your last name) Family." When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! We love our kiddos! However; if you want to use this as an opportunity for date night then we understand! Those of you with children we have indicated on your invitation, please let us know if they will attend or not.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We've lived together for quite a while, with all our pots and pans, and as we don't need homely gifts, we have another plan! We know it's not traditional, but it's easier that's for sure, to have no wedding list at all, your attendance means much more! For those of you who do insist, we have a savings pot, a small gift to add to this, would really mean a lot!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking that you please RSVP as soon as possible. Our RSVP deadline is August 15th due to catering commitments. Any RSVPs after the deadline will unfortunately not be able to attend.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure you can be seated. Please arrive on time and if you are going to be late, don’t disrupt the ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is Formal with Black Tie Optional. This means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (an evening gown or tuxedo) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead. No jeans please! We also kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. Also, prepare for weather of about 88 during the day and 75 after sunset.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking will be on site. However, it is a long walk from the parking lot to the venue. Please plan accordingly.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, please provide your own transportation to the ceremony.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Nope! We’re keeping it simple. Ceremony and reception - that’s it!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes!! We have paid for an open bar, however, the venue has a consumption limit. If this limit is exceeded, it will turn into a cash bar so plan accordingly! (Both cash and card are accepted)

Question

CAN WE TAKE OUR OWN PICTURES + VIDEOS THROUGHOUT THE DAY?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and there to be no pictures or videos taken! You are more than welcome to take photos and videos throughout the course of the reception. This is such a special day for us, and we have the most amazing photography team documenting our entire day, that way you are able to take it all in, celebrate, and be in the moment with us!
