While trying their hand on online dating, Evan and Liz met each other on bumble. Liz saw a guy that was funny and kind, and messaged him first (as the app used to be). Evan almost missed his chance (there was a 24 hour deadline for him to respond), but by sheer luck he saw the message on the last hour of a camping trip and responded back. They quickly connected over dogs, food recs and soon went from chatting online to wanting to meet in person. On their first date Liz was late and apologized profusely, but Evan was not bothered at all and was excited to finally meet in person. They shared a pizza, and talked the whole night about history, shows, random facts and their lives. By the end of the date, it was clear that another date had to be made, and what was one date became many, and after many dates here we are today. About to be married to the person they each call their friend and partner for life.
