FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please fill out your RSVP on the website by April 12th, 2024 so we may obtain an accurate head count for meal and seating arrangements.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

B'nai Israel Southbury is located on CT-67 W/US-6 W and just off I-84 E/US-6 E. Parking is located both in the front and rear of the building, free of charge.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail/formal. Out of respect for the venue, we ask that you cover shoulders and knees during the ceremony. (Using a shawl that you can remove during the reception is fine).

Question

Do I have to wear a kippah?

Answer

At our wedding, any guest may take a kippah (also known as a yarmulke), a traditional Jewish head covering. You are welcome but not required to wear the kippah during our ceremony and reception.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

A seated dinner will be served during the reception. All food served will be vegetarian and kosher. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please indicate that on your RSVP form or reach out to us.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are honored to have you all as witnesses to the beginning of our marriage. With this in mind, we respectfully request that all cameras and phones be turned off during the ceremony. We look forward to sharing our professional photos!

For all the days along the way
