Edcy followed me on instagram after seeing my page through a christian post. He thought, "wow, who is this pretty, Godly girl?!" We were "friends" on instagram for about 2 years. He has friends in Atlanta and was coming to visit in June 2024. After meeting me in person he asked to call me sometime. When he called me it was very Godly and encouraging. We built a friendship over the next year. In April 2025, we decided we were ready to really give this a go! Since we already had a friendship, our romantic dating pursuit blossomed quickly. In June 2025 we started to feel more led to be coming "exclusive". July 2025, in Delray Beach in Florida, Edcy did a sweet and thoughtful girlfriend proposal by the water. I said yes! In September of 2025 Edcy asked Elizabeth's dad for her hand in marriage, he said yes! October 2025 Edcy surprised Elizabeth with a beautiful engagement proposal in Chattanooga, FL at Ruby Falls! Edcy hired a Photographer and Videographer to be on the Ruby Falls tour with them the whole time without Elizabeth knowing. Edcy waited until they got infront of the waterfall in the cave to ask Elizabeth to marry him. Edcy quoted John 7:38 "Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." Expressing to Elizabeth that her walking with the Lord has benefited fruit in His life by the "living water" in her life splashing over into Edcys life. Elizabeth said, "YES!" Edcy also planned a surprise engagement photoshoot at sunset by the Chattanooga river with a picture display set up with pictures of sweet memories from their friendship and courtship. Edcy also played the guitar and sang songs he wrote for Elizabeth. Aww!!! 🥰 😍 Now Edcy and Elizabeth are getting married on December 15th, 2025 by the Lords Grace! We are honored if you can make it and/or give into our marriage. May the Lord be glorified! <3
