Some "need to knows" about the wedding and the area:
Because Maple Valley is a small forest town, the closest hotels are in Renton and Kent, approx. 20 minutes from the wedding venue and 10-15 minutes from SeaTac airport. The drive from SeaTac directly to the venue is 30 minutes, and there is ample free parking in the lodge lot. Public transportation to Maple Valley is limited, but we are working on ride share coordination, so if you would like to offer or need a ride, please reach out to either Lizzie or Dylan!
Food will be buffet style, and drinks will be self-serve wine, beer, and cider!
Attire is dressy casual to cocktail (think semi-formal but comfortable, and colors rather than black and grey). The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn by the lake (weather permitting), and the reception will be inside the lodge.
We kindly ask all of our guests to "unplug" and stow away their phones for the ceremony.
We cannot wait to celebrate and dance the night away with you all!
