One of our favorite local Italian spots, take out and dine in available (we’re big fans of their chicken parm subs and calzones). They even have an outdoor seating area! note: they’re closed on Sunday & Monday
Liz’s favorite local pizza spot with too many great options (she either gets margarita pizza, cheesesteak pizza, or a chicken caesar with a side of knots). Dine in or take out, and Vinny is the best 💗
Quiet and so good. Downtown area, with small eats, dipped ice cream & shakes, and handmade soda. You can walk the downtown area and visit all of the small shops and the river front. There’s a local farmers market on Saturdays in fountain park from 8-12(ish), and p.s. there’s a cat sanctuary above the luncheonette!
Cold drinks and good vibes. A town staple with pool tables and good eats
Directly across from our venue, they have a walking trail that spans over a mile and is waterfront
Chestertown’s local coffee shop and cafe, there’s something for everyone (Liz always gets an Alaskan w/ whip). They recently moved and have a new outdoor seating area!
A little unconventional but we loooove Cross Street Market! They have fresh local produce, honey, meat (beef, pork, lamb, seafood), baked goods from Lapps, a variety of organic and imported pantry staples, fresh bouquets from Wildly Native, natural remedies and PLANTS! (Liz’s favorite). A little outside of town, but worth it
Drew’s favorite because, well, cheese. They have such a variety of cheese, wine, crackers, breads and spreads and local goods
A local bakery, also downtown just a couple doors down from Stam’s. If you go be sure to try a croissant (Drew’s pick), a Maine blueberry muffin (Liz’s pick) or a Sun Bun (crowd fave)
