Our Story

February 5 2027

Our story began nine years ago with a simple swipe on Tinder. When we first met, our first impressions of each other were pretty funny. Kekoa thought I was a beautiful but slightly intimidating Asian girl with a very dark personality, when I thought he was a quiet "pretty boy" who barely spoke a word. I didn't mind but I wanted to show how honest I could possibly be with the right person for the rest of my life. On our first date at a sushi restaurant in Huntington beach, CA; I ended up doing most of the talking while he shyly listened. I don't know if he didn't mind or scared, but he listened to everything I had to say. After that night, we both weren't looking for anything but the presence of just hanging out with one another started to transform us into something special, we took a risk and just went with it. Frequent hangouts turned into dates, trips, and just wanting to spend all the time in the world with one another. We both had different things going on and figuring out our own individual path. I was in between jobs and lacked direction while he was in full school and work mode. While he was a full-time student and working multiple jobs, he was doing everything he could to provide for us. He kept trying his best with all that was on his plate and in that moment, he showed me the kind of man he truly was, he was caring, supportive and someone who would always stand by my side with all the types of hell I gave him. Over the years we faced numerous ups and downs, but through it all, we continued to learn from each other, grow stronger, and not give up on each other. On February 8, 2025, it was our 8-year anniversary; Kekoa proposed on a very windy, cold day at Laguna Beach. It was a very beautiful, emotional moment that we will never forget. With so much emotion and eyes drowning in tears, I of course said YES without hesitation! We are super excited to have you all come celebrate our wedding on February 5, 2027, and just being the moment with us. Thank you for being part of our story!
