This is the most likely airport to use to come to Newport News. It is across the bridge tunnel, which has heavy traffic at rush hour. However, it's larger and closer than Richmond, and a lot bigger than the Newport News/Williamsburg Airport, so it's more likely to have good flights.

The Richmond airport is about 90 minutes from Newport News, but does not involve crossing any bridge tunnels. It may have different flights than Norfolk can offer.

This airport is by far the closest, but also the smallest. They offer a limited amount of flights, but are definitely worth checking out.
