Do you have any hotel recommendations?

First off, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! The closest hotels near our venue are the Visitation Hotel at 211 E Church St Frederick, MD 21701 and Hampton Inn Frederick at 5311 Buckeystown Pike Frederick, MD 21704

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Buckeystown Methodist Church has onsite parking for the ceremony. For the reception, Brewers Alley has a parking garage behind the building.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Men can wear dress pants and a blazer and/or dress shirt. Women can wear dresses or dressy separates.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on the invitation. We thank you for your understanding!

Can I Take Photos/Videos During The Ceremony?

Answer

We have hired an amazing photographer named Ashley, she will be there to capture all the moments of the ceremony. We do kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceramony portion. Feel free to take as many photos/videos as you like after the ceremony is finished.

Can I Post On Social Media Once The Knot Is Tied?

Answer

Once the Bride and Groom announce to the world that the knot is tied, feel free to post. Please refrain from posting pictures of the wedding until then.

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults. With the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3pm, please plan to arrive between 2:35-2:50.
