Lake Placid is located about 2 hours north of Albany in the Lake Placid Region of the Adirondacks. For those who would like to fly, the best option for some will be to fly into Albany International Airport and drive from there while others may be able to find flights directly into Lake Placid from airlines iike Cape Air.
