Camp Point, IL is Elizabeth's home town and the location of our ceremony and reception. It is also in the middle of nowhere! (Insert extra thanks and gratitude for your making a trip to one of the least-exotic, yet hardest-to-get-to places in the USA!). Quincy is not much better, but does have a bit more to offer--including a tiny airport, hotels, restaurants, and even stoplights!
ST. LOUIS is the closest major airport (a 3 hour drive), CHICAGO is next best (a 5 hour drive). Both hubs have puddle jumpers (via Cape Air) to Quincy, IL. Many hotels in Quincy offer shuttle pick-ups and drop-offs from the airport.
We think car-pooling will be very possible throughout the wedding weekend. If you are flying please let us know so we can possibly assist in finding you a ride/avoiding car rentals.
