Travel Note
Altitude awareness The area in which we are having the wedding is at around 8000-9000 feet in elevation. Altitude sickness is a real problem, so please make sure you're drinking plenty of water (approximately 2x's more than you normally do), and not doing anything too strenuous until your body adjusts to the oxygen and pressure differences. Most grocery stores and gas stations have bottles of oxygen for sale if you need it. Sun The sun is very bright up in the mountains and can quickly give you sunburn, so please protect your skin with sunscreen and a hat! The ceremony will be outside, so please feel free to wear a hat to protect your head from the sun. Airport Denver International Airport is the largest major airport to Grand County. For an additional cost, you can fly into Steamboat Springs instead, but Denver will be cheaper. Shuttles There are a few shuttle options from the Denver airport to the Grand County area. Two are listed below if you are not renting a car and someone is picking you up. Accomodations I've listed a few options below, but there are plenty of other hotels and Airbnbs throughout the area. If you'd like to find someone to split accommodations with, please reach out to Elizabeth so that you can potentially get connected with someone.
