May 2016: Elizabeth decides she's done dating and going to take a break for a year. June 2016: Elizabeth and Cassady meet in her hometown of Canon City, CO at the infamous White Water Festival. Elizabeth says to her friend, "That's the most beautiful man I've ever seen." Her friend walks up to Cassady and says "This is my friend Liz." Cassady sticks out his hand and says "Hi, I'm Cass" (But Cass would tell you, they didn't meet until later that evening at Brothers when Liz stared at him all night long from the across the bar. He remembers her as being wide eyed across the bar just staring at him). They both agree that he bought a round of tequila shots and the rest was history. July-September 2016: SILENCE. Cassady doesn't reach out. Elizabeth seeks advice from her cousins who both encourage her to text him. September 2016: Cassady is STOKED to hear from Elizabeth (he says he was going to reach out to her Labor Day weekend anyway). They go camping together in Canon City. October 2016: They go on a date in Denver with Elizabeth's family. Liz is convinced Cass doesn't like her. The next day, he asks her to be his girlfriend. 2016-2017: Liz and Cass move in together, go on adventures around the globe, and start building a life together. January 2018: Cass goes ring shopping before their upcoming trip to Europe February 2018: Liz & Cass find out they're expecting two weeks before leaving for Europe. Liz survives morning sickness in Germany, Sweden, and Amsterdam before Cass proposes in Iceland October 2018: Baby Stella arrives! September 14, 2019: They get married and throw the biggest party Canon City has seen
