If you need help deciding what to wear: Men- a tuxedo or a suit and tie is appropriate. Formal Scottish attire is welcome! Women- a floor-length, mid, or cocktail dress would be appropriate. We kindly request no jeans. We are so excited to celebrate together!
Please arrive 20 - 30 minutes before the ceremony start time. This will give you a chance to enjoy special bagpipe music as you enter the church, sign our guest book, find your seat, and enjoy special prelude music. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m.
Invitations are limited to those listed on your invitation and RSVP. If you received a plus one, they will be listed on your invitation and you will be able to RSVP for them on our website!
The bride and groom request that you plan for an adults-only evening unless your child is listed on your invitation.
After the ceremony, we ask all guests to exit through the narthex or elevator and to the front steps of the church for a send off of the bride and groom to the reception (weather permitting). Then make your way to the Yellow Rose Ballroom at the Embassy Suites - Downtown Amarillo. We will have a short cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres. Then you will find your assigned table for a plated dinner. Following dinner and cake cutting, we will have a band to enjoy dancing for the remaining of the evening. We are excited to celebrate with you!
