Question

Is the ceremony walking distance to the reception?

Answer

Yes! It is a short walk across the street to the reception. If you need special assistance please reach out to either the Bride or the Groom and we’ll make accommodations with you.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Garden Party / Semi-Formal. Ladies please wear comfortable shoes for the walk! You will be walking on grass so I would suggest either flats or wedges.

Question

What is the significance of this venue?

Answer

This store was founded in 1828 by the great-great-great-great grandfather of the stores present day owner (the bride’s brother - Ben). This building has been in the Bride’s family for decades and has been a cobbler’s shop, a carpentry barn, and one of the first post offices in the US. It is now a staple in the quaint village of Chiltonville offering fresh produce, lobster rolls from the bay, fresh flowers hand picked from Bramhall’s Garden (where the ceremony will be held.) If you’re in town before the wedding, check it out!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, however we are not able to have everyone there. Please pay close attention to your invitation. Those who are invited are listed on the invitation.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please tip your talented bartenders though :)
