When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We're thrilled to announce that on April 5th, 2025, we'll be celebrating with you at the beautiful Goodstone Inn located in Middleburg, VA. All wedding related activities day-of will be held onsite for ease and safety of everyone.

Question

Will there be lodging accommodations?

Answer

We have reserved all accommodations at Goodstone Inn for our wedding weekend. If you plan to attend the Sterenberg-Fritz Wedding, a room will be reserved for you. 21-14 days prior to the wedding weekend, Goodstone Inn will contact you directly to collect your credit card information for room payment. Room rates are $534 + tax per night. Check-in time: 4:00 PM, April 4th Check-out time: 11:00 AM, April 6th A valid state-issued photo ID are required at check-in. Early check-in and/or late check-out may be available based on room type and availability, for an additional fee. Please confirm with Guest Services. Please remember to return your key to Guest Services at check-out. A non-refundable replacement fee of $25 will be charged to the credit card on file for any lost keys. For your comfort, all guest rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $250 will be applied for smoking violations. We appreciate your cooperation.

How do I get to the venue? Is there parking available?

Answer

There is ample parking available at the venue. Depending on your chosen airport and arrival time, the journey to the venue typically ranges from 45 minutes to just over an hour. Though we'd love to provide transportation, we'll be busy with pre-wedding arrangements. Therefore, we highly recommend carpooling or renting a car for airport and venue transportation. While Ubers and Lyfts are an option, they might not be as readily available.

What should I wear?

In lieu of a traditional wedding party, we invite you to reflect our wedding theme through your attire. Recognizing this unique request, we kindly ask guests to dress in shades of green, blue, or beige. For ladies, consider stylish dresses, jumpsuits, or separates in various shades of blue, green, or beige. Opt for knee-length, tea-length, or floor-length dresses in colors such as navy, emerald, sage green, aqua, or champagne beige. Add a touch of glamour with satin finishes, floral prints, or subtle embellishments, evoking a classic yet modern tea party vibe. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tailored suits or dress trousers paired with a smart blazer. Timeless choices like navy, gray, or charcoal gray suits are particularly fitting. Coordinate your ensemble with shades of blue, green, or beige to complement the theme. We eagerly anticipate your elegantly dressed presence as we create cherished memories on our special day.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Kindly arrive by 4:15 p.m. to ensure there is plenty of time to be seated before the ceremony begins.

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

As we aim to maintain an intimate atmosphere and respect venue capacity constraints, we regret we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those included in your invitation. Thank you for your understanding, and we eagerly anticipate celebrating with you!

Are my kids allowed to come?

Answer

While we cherish you and your families dearly, we kindly ask children not included in the invitation remain at home while you indulge in a delightful mini-vacation in Northern Virginia!

Will we need day-of transportation?

Answer

No need to worry! We've booked all the cottages and rooms at the venue, so you'll be staying onsite where all the wedding festivities will unfold!

Will there be a wedding party?

Answer

We've decided to mark our day without a conventional wedding party. We're thrilled to share this extraordinary moment with our dearest friends and family.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Kindly inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions by the RSVP deadline so we can ensure your needs are accommodated. You can include this information in your RSVP or reach out to us directly.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We request that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow our photographers to capture these moments without obstruction. Professional photos will be shared with you after the wedding.

What if I'm unable to attend?

Answer

We understand the cost to travel and take time off work may not be attainable for some. Please join us if you are able, but for those who can't make it, we look forward to celebrating with you at an informal reception at a later date.
