We matched on a dating app in March 2024. After some messages back and forth, in which Elizabeth was trying to decide which one of Arthur's many differently angled profile pictures could possibly represent the real him. At the same time, Arthur was trying to decide if Elizabeth secretly lived in another time zone, since she would only reply to him after she was home from teaching preschool, we finally met! Our first date was on March 28th at Sylvan Street Grille, Elizabeth's favorite go-to restaurant! After talking for hours and closing the place down, we made a second date and the rest is history! We have been on many adventures together, notably Arthur's first Watts Family Vacation in Myrtle Beach where he was just thrown right to the sharks in July 2024. It was there that he got the stamp of approval from Elizabeth's rather outspoken family members! Elizabeth fit right in with Arthur's family, meeting them for the first time in September 2024 for a family birthday party. Our niece and nephews (Kali, Kade, Ryan and Maxwell) met in January 2025 and were instant playmates! Everything and everyone just fit so nicely! We decided to find out if we could share a home in July 2025, which is when Arthur moved in with Elizabeth. Arthur did have to learn to hold back on his full strength within Elizabeth's apartment. He swiftly broke off the shower head on the very first day in his new home, oops! However, we quickly settled into a routine that includes binging episodes of Bones after work, watching movies on our "must watch" list, and ordering pineapple pizza on the weekends! On October 18, 2025 we got all dressed up to attend a Wizard of Oz murder mystery lunch in Wells, Maine. It was a wonderful show. Even more shocking than the murderer's reveal was the moment in which the microphone was handed over to Arthur (and promptly put down due to nerves) and he proposed! We got engaged on the Yellow Brick Road in front of the whole Wizard of Oz cast, with Elizabeth fully dressed as her favorite character Dorothy! A true "Over the Rainbow" moment! Now we cannot wait to tie the knot in front of our beloved family and friends on July 12th at Tupper Manor!
