Ride Hermann Trolley
All day pass - $20 per person Wednesday Through Sunday Running 10am to 5pm Call to see if running on Monday's and Tuesday's The Trolley is for everyone looking for a good time in Hermann. We get couples all the time who have a great experience in our beautiful little town. We'll pick you up at your guest house or bed and breakfast in Hermann and take you to all the local wineries and distilleries. At the end of the day we'll get you back home safely.
OakGlenn Vineyards & Winery
Oak Glenn is our favorite winery. Fantastic View of the River. Plenty of tables in the shade. Really good wine. Great Experience!
Katy Trail
Katy Trail is a pedestrian/Bike trail, which was once railroad track. Very flat and easy, and follows the river. (Sometimes close, sometimes not viewable) Use as much of the very very long trail as you wish. Trail head is located about 3 miles from Hermann. We have Biked this part of the Katy Trail many times. Unfortunately, there are no Bike Rental companies in Hermann.
Stone Hill Winery
Stone Hill Winery is another favorite of ours. Conveniently located in Hermann. Very good wine. Wonderful elevated view of the city. We recommend taking the "Free" tour of the Winery. Fun, educational and historical! Tastings available for $15 per person. 6 Wines and you get to keep the glass.
Alpenhorn Gasthaus
Dinner Served only on Fridays and Saturdays Dinner Reservations Required. Very nice restaurant.
Tin Mill Brewing Co
Great Beer, I mean really Great Beer. 22 different beer varieties, most, if not all, are German. (What a surprise!) Have not had the opportunity to eat at the brewery. Menu is inviting, but it's more of a bar menu. No age requirements. Lot's of options. Starters Sandwiches Pizza, and Sides Open Thursday through Monday 11am to 7pm If you want a better dinner menu, Tin Mill has another location on 1st street.
