Seaside Downtown Development Association
Explore the many local businesses or take a walk on the beach front! On the way to the pier explore the famous saltwater taffy store or take a turn and go to the carrousel. Downtown seaside is 5-10 minutes away from the reservation.
Riverwalk Trail
Walk along the coastal pier and old railroad tracks on this scenic trail. Filled with wildlife and local business there's no telling what you might see in the water!
Wreck of the Peter Iredale
Located right on the beach is the famous Peter Iredale! Known for its structure, many tourists enjoy climbing to the top or taking photos. Enjoy the shipwreck while also playing in the waves!
The Astoria Column
This is where Alex proposed! The column is a tower overlooking the Columbia River and is a treasured monument for the settlement in the west. Climb the stairs to the top and look over the ocean or follow the sacred tradition of throwing your message filled paper airplane down to the river.
Goonies House
This is the Goonies House! If you're a fan of the movie then you should stop and explore before the next one is set to be released!
Fort Stevens State Park
There is much to do in Fort Stevens. Besides the beach there are the bunkers built at the tail end of the American Civil War, many trails, coffin berry lake, and various hiking spots.
Astoria Riverfront Trolley
Take a ride on our Astoria trolley that runs through the riverwalk!
Fort Clatsop Visitor Center
Built in 1805, explore where Louis and Clark settled and traded with the Native Americans before departing to Maryland. This is where they came across the Clatsop Nation Indians and Sacagawea. Learning how to trade, make salt and hunt various game.
