Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome to attend our celebration! That said, we want you to enjoy yourself, so we are happy to connect you with a local babysitter for the night of the wedding.

What is the best way to get there?

Answer

If you are looking to fly in for the weekend, Burlington Airport is roughly 45 minutes away from the town of Stowe and our accommodations. There are several direct flights every day from Chicago, Detroit and New York. Flights to Burlington are usually cheaper the earlier you book so don't delay! Ubers and Lyfts are generally available to take you into Stowe from Burlington. For a return taxi to the airport, here’s one option: https://burlington-taxi.com/stowe-vt-burlington-taxi-shuttle/ ; Expected price is between $90-120. If you’d like to explore the town over the weekend, we recommend renting a car. It’s the best way to see the area.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the events?

Yes! There will be a shuttle that will pick up guests staying at both the Green Mountain Inn and The Trout Club on Saturday. *There are no Ubers or Taxis in the area. We kindly ask that if you are not staying at either of these locations, please meet at the Green Mountain Inn on Saturday and we’ll take you on the shuttle!

What weather should we plan for?

September in Vermont is perhaps the most beautiful time of the year. Days can range from the mid 60s to the upper 70s, with nights typically in the 50s to low 60s when the sun goes down. While we are praying for sunshine all weekend long, it is the mountains, so you never know what you are going to get even if you see one thing in the forecast! Plan accordingly!
