Adam & Liz have probably been in the same room hundreds of times before they started dating. Adam, who went to Wyoming Seminary, and Liz, who attended Bishop Hafey & MMI, both matriculated at Bucknell University for college. In fact - Adam tried to ask Liz out when they were both in Intro to Geology in Fall 2009, but she wouldn't entertain the idea. They both agree that if they had tried dating while in college, it probably wouldn't have worked out. Eight years later, Adam & Liz spent their first date hiking at Seven Tubs Nature Preserve in Bear Creek. Adam's dog, Holly, made the day particularly memorable by rolling in something unpleasant and carrying that scent throughout their 2+ hour hike. A little over 2 years full of exciting times later, on the eve of COVID-19, Adam proposed to Liz at home after a conversation about their grandparents, future children, and life they were planning together. They've spent the last year and a half moving Liz back to PA, renovating their home with their dogs Jax & Holly, and planning & replanning their wedding & reception. Liz & Adam got married in Liz's parents' backyard on December 27, 2020 in an intimate, chilly, sunset ceremony officiated by Space Force 1L Joshua Maldonado-Santiago, Liz's Brother-in-Law.
