Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please, let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Can I bring guests/plus ones not noted on my invitation?

Answer

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear with your name when you RSVP. Please ensure you are RSVPing for yourself & your guest(s). Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Is there a dress code? Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! We request semi-formal dress code for our evening. Wear whatever color you would like, but please do not wear colors typically reserved for the bride (white, cream, ivory, etc.) or sage green.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! We should have invited all children belonging to your family. If we happened to miss a child, PLEASE, reach out to one of us or our parents and we will get that fixed!

Will there be transportation to and from the venue provided?

Answer

The Bride and Groom encourage all guests to book accommodations through the Holiday Inn as the hotel is steps away from the venue. Transportation will NOT be provided. If you choose to stay beyond walking distance from the venue, please ensure you have a safe ride home.

What details are regarding the wedding hotel block?

Answer

A block of rooms has been reserved under the Lego-Mortonson Wedding Rate. There is an additional $10/adult charge for each adult over 17. Under 17 has no charge. Rooms can be reserved by calling (815) 622-4000 or going to www.hiexpress.com/rockfallsil and entering the code LMW in the group code space. You MUST book your room prior to 4/20/2022 to receive the block rate. The hotel will accept reservations after the cut off date on a first come, first serve basis determined by availability at the time of reservations at the hotels prevailing rate. Individual cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival. Any cancellations not made 24 hours or more prior to the date of arrival are subject to a Cancellation Fee equal to the first nights room and tax charges. Reservations must be guaranteed with a Credit card at the time they are made. Please call the hotel with any questions!
