Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Alturia Farm. The address is 6101 Dabneys Mill Rd, Manquin, VA 23106.

What is the best way to get to Alturia Farm?

Answer

FROM 360E: Turn left onto State Route 605/ Manfield Rd (5.3 miles). Turn left on State Route 604 /Dabneys Mill Rd (0.8 miles) Alturia Farm will be on the right. FROM 301N: Turn right on State Route 605 (River Rd) at the corner of the Hanover Heritage Equestrian Center. (Travel 4.7 miles). Continue onto State Rte 615 ( Travel 0.4 miles). At the fork bear left and continue onto Nelsons Bridge Rd (Travel 2.9 miles). Turn right onto State Rte.652/Mahixon Rd (Travel 2.9 miles). Road ends. Turn Left onto State Rte 604/Dabneys Mill Rd. In 0.3 miles Alturia Farm will be on the left. FROM 95N : Exit 92A for VA-54E toward Hanover (5.6 miles). Slight left onto VA-54W (200 ft). Turn left onto US 301 N for (0.2 miles) Turn right onto State Route 614/Hanover Courthouse Rd (4.7 miles) Turn Right to stay on State Route 614 (3.3 miles) Turn right onto State Route 604/Dabneys Mill Rd (1.9 miles) Turn right to stay on State Route 604/Dabneys Mill Rd (0.8 miles). Alturia Farm will be on the right.

Where should I park at the venue?

Answer

Alturia Farm asks that all guests park in Robin's Arena. Alturia Farm staff will direct cars to the appropriate parking locations. If you require further assistance, there will be golf cart transportation available free of charge.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If weather permits, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be held indoors.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire is encouraged, however, you are welcome to dress in a festive manner befitting a rural, farm wedding (for example, cowboy boots and hats, if you are so inclined). Ladies, be mindful of stiletto heels because the ceremony will be on grass.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Unfortunately, as much as we would love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will still be able to join us for our special day.
