How do we get there?

Answer

For easiest/direct, we recommend flying into OPO (Porto) or LIS (Lisbon). From either airport you can book a bus (flixbus or rede expressos), train (https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en) or Uber. For more affordable options traveling from the US, you can check flights into Spain: MAD and BCN. You can find Inter Europe flights into Portugal for <100$ if you book at the right time. If you are staying for more than 2 days, we recommend renting a car from the airport.

Where do I book a train ticket and to what station?

Answer

Book your train at https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en/buy-tickets. Our train station is Aveiro (1 hour south of Porto, 2 hours north of Lisbon). Public transportation from the airport is available, but it is much slower (uber takes around 10 mins and usually less than 10 euros). From OPO, you take the train from station: Campanhã. From LIS you take the train from station: Lisboa Oriente. You can easily Uber from Aveiro train station to the hotels.
