We will be exchanging vows (and subsequently, celebrating!) in the backyard of our home in Chicopee, MA.
We are happy to report that on our wedding day, May 29th, Massachusetts will be lifting all remaining COVID-19 restrictions! This includes the mask mandate, but we will be providing extra masks for anyone who would still like one, and encourage frequent use of hand sanitizer, of which we will have plenty available. To prevent the potential spread of the virus, servers will be stationed at the buffet tables to handle the food, and we do ask that guests wear masks when approaching the buffet tables. During cocktail hour, some hors d'oeuvres will be served at the tables for those who feel safer not approaching the buffet.
We have a wide driveway in which we will try to fit as many cars as we can. If this is full when you arrive, Louise Kasak's Dance Academy on Homer Avenue (just two houses away!) has agreed to allow us to use their parking lot. If both lots are full, feel free to also park anywhere on the street. Because parking space will be limited, we do ask in advance that you consider carpooling with other guests if possible.
Faaaancy. Take this opportunity to dress your best! However it will be an outdoor wedding, so do what you need to be most comfortable (ladies, consider how stilettoes may fair on the soft grass). Also consider it is a spring wedding in the evening, so bringing along a jacket or fancy wrap to warm up just in case might be advisable too.
For dinner we will be having a buffet including choices of salmon, beef tenderloin, spring vegetables, and various sides including some gluten-free options which will be labeled. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us ahead of time so we can accommodate.
Certainly! Though we will be providing beer and wine, feel free to bring your drink of choice and enjoy responsibly ;)
We love your kids-- but we want this to be your night off! So get a babysitter, bring your lovely selves, and enjoy!
