Salt & Straw is a Crowder family favorite. Their seasonal menu has the most creative, unique flavors. There is usually a line out the door but it moves fast and is always worth the wait!

The Alpine Inn in Portola Valley is a rustic, roadside spot with carved tables & an outdoor picnic area - they serve delicious American food. A great choice for a group!
Tartine Manufactory
Tartine Manufactory, located in the SF Mission District, is one of our favorite spots for brunch. Their daily, fresh-made bread is a must-try.
Stanford Shopping Center
Whether you want to window shop, purchase clothes, or grab a bite to eat, the Stanford Shopping Center has it all!
Stanford University
One of our favorite activities is biking around the Stanford University campus. You will enjoy incredible architecture, manicured lawns, a church, many fountains, the Rodin Sculpture Garden, and more!
The Palace Of Fine Arts
The Palace of Fine Arts is a beautiful site to take in breathtaking architecture and impressive landscaping. You can walk around the site free of charge or bring a picnic!
Huddart Park
If you have time for a nature walk/hike, Huddart park is gorgeous and has plenty of shade!
Poplar Beach
Half Moon Bay has the most gorgeous cliffs and beaches. Though you must be warned - the water is freezing!
Ghirardelli Square
Visit the iconic Ghirardelli square for the best hot chocolate, ice cream sundaes, and views of the bay!
Ramen Nagi
One of our favorite date night spots. This place has the most delicious and authentic ramen in town!
Tender Greens
Tender Greens at the Stanford Shopping Center was one of Luke and I's go-to spots for dinner this past summer. Our favorite is their Buttermilk Fried Chicken.
Sprout Café
Sprout is a great option for a lighter bite to eat — their menu is full of delicious sandwiches and salads.
Ike's Sandwiches
Ike's sandwiches are simply the best. For those of you who haven't yet tried the Bay Area classic Dutch Crunch bread, this place is a MUST during your visit to the Bay.
