Can we take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that no videos or pictures are taken during the ceremony. We would appreciate it if everyone could unplug for 15-20 minutes. We have hired a videographer & photographer who are very talented & we feel will capture every moment. Once the ceremony is over, you can take as many photos & videos as you would like. If you would like to post any of the content you take, please tag us & use our wedding hashtag, #RoadtoRichmond so we can see all of the photos. We are so excited to celebrate with you all.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registry is attached to the website. In lieu of gifts, we have chosen to do monetary donations to help offset the cost of the wedding & our Honeymoon. By popular demand, we did do a registry with Amazon that is linked under our registry page on this website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is business casual to semi-formal, dust off the cowboy boots and strut your way to the wedding.

Is there any reason to bring cash?

Answer

We are doing a money dance. Cash or Venmo will be accepted.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP ONLY. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invite due to budgetary & venue restrictions.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

No.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately there won’t be.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your formal invitation is addressed to both you & your children, then your kids are welcome. If they are not listed on the invitation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP ASAP. We would like to know at least 30 days before the wedding so we can give final numbers to our caterer by October 1.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We plan to start the ceremony by 4 so please arrive by 3:30 and you may socialize before the wedding begins.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

I have provided a link to several reputable hotels on our website under “Travel.” If you need more recommendations, please reach out & I will do my best to recommend an alternate hotel.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The entire wedding will take place indoors. Keep in mind, the floor is packed dirt & you will also be walking on gravel so choose your shoes carefully!

How will we get from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception?

Answer

All venues are on the same property. The only transportation you will have to worry about is to and from the wedding itself.
