Can I bring a guest or my children?
Answer
We’ve chosen to keep our celebration an intimate, adults-only event. Due to this, we can only accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation.

What is the layout of the event?
Answer
We are excited to utilize the full beauty of the ranch! The ceremony will be held by the lake, with cocktail hour to follow on the beach. We will then move to a nearby field for a tented reception with a full floor, perfect for dancing!

What is the dress code?
Answer
Black Tie Optional! We want to give everyone an excuse to dress up and feel fancy with us. To keep things polished, we ask that you please leave the jeans and denim at home for the day. For Women, we recommend a floor-length gown or an elegant cocktail dress. For Men, a tuxedo is great if you have one, but a dark suit and tie are just as perfect.

Footwear & the terrain
Answer
Our wedding will take place outdoors. To ensure you can move comfortably across the grass and gravel, we recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats. We strongly discourage stilettos or thin heels, as they will sink into the ground.

Transportation from the hotel to the wedding

A shuttle will be provided from the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Sheridan. A schedule will be posted here at a later time.

Will I need a jacket?
Answer
Yes! While June days in Wyoming are beautiful, the temperature drops quickly once the sun dips behind the mountains. To stay comfortable through the end of the reception, we highly recommend bringing a light jacket, formal wrap, or blazer.

Is this a "Western" or "Rustic" wedding?
Answer
While we are celebrating at a beautiful ranch, the aesthetic is simple and elegant rather than rustic. We are leaning into a timeless, clean look that highlights the natural scenery, and we invite our guests to dress for a formal evening occasion.

Any tips for the Wyoming altitude?
Answer
We want you to feel your best! Since we will be at a higher elevation, we recommend staying extra hydrated in the days leading up to the wedding. It’s also helpful to keep in mind that a single celebratory cocktail can feel like two at this altitude!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away until we are pronounced husband and wife. After that, we encourage you to take as many photos as you’d like!
