To get to the ceremony location, from the parking lot, take paved path and continue straight (do not turn right) until you are beyond the second stone bridge. Location lies at the forest clearing on your right where the fall comes into view.
Depending on traffic and how fast you drive on windy roads, it will take an hour and a half to two hours to get to the reception from the ceremony. In the schedule, we have allocated cushion time of two to three hours between the events, giving extra time to drive a bit more through the park or stop at some lookout points following the ceremony if you would like. Snacks will be provided following the ceremony before food is served at the reception.
Parking at Bridalveil Falls may be limited— if able, please consider parking at Tunnel View parking, where a shuttle is available to take you to Bridalveil Falls. Additionally, parking is limited at the reception venue. If staying in the neighborhood, please consider parking at your accommodation and walking over. Carpooling to both events is highly encouraged.
It is not likely that reservations will be required as it will not be the busy season in Yosemite. However, wedding guests are able to use a printed version of the wedding ceremony permit as a reservation if reservations do end up being required. If you would like a printable PDF of the permit, please text or email the bride or groom.
