FAQs

The Wedding Website of Eliza Porter and Elías Moreno
Have questions? We've gathered answers to some of the most common questions about our wedding day, including attire, timing, accommodations, and more. If you don't see your question here, feel free to reach out to us!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love for our guests to dress in semi-formal attire or their favorite church clothes. Think dresses, skirts, slacks, button-down shirts, sport coats, and similar attire. Our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable while helping us celebrate this special day. We can't wait to see you dressed up and ready to celebrate!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony starts.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

We'll be serving a variety of appetizers and light bites during the celebration. Since a full meal will not be provided, we recommend eating beforehand or planning to enjoy dinner later that evening. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Amazon and Target. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you'd like to bless us with a gift, you can find our registries linked on this website. Thank you!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, due to limited seating we ask that only the guests names listed on the RSVP attend. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to our venue's limited seating and guest capacity, only guests whose names are specifically listed on your invitation or RSVP are invited to attend. If a plus one has been reserved for you, their name will be included alongside yours. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Oakland Baptist Church! The reception is at the Blanford House, which is located right next to the church! Guests will walk over to the reception after the ceremony.

Question

What happens if I can't attend after RSVPing?

Answer

We understand that plans change. Please let us know as soon as possible if you're no longer able to attend. Thank you!

Question

Can I go ahead and RSVP before official invites are sent?

Answer

Absolutely! If you already know that you will or will not be able to attend, we would love for you to go ahead and let us know!
