Plenty of options to make your trip into a beach vacation - Casino Beach is the most common beach access point available but our typical preference is going down further past Portofino can put Pensacola Beach Dog Park - East in your GPS for reference - it is the first beach access point we'd recommend (only if you love dogs for this one!)
We love going to the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings in Pensacola - there are plenty of local artists and local food vendors available!
-Aunt Katie's: great breakfast spot with a little bit of everything! -Ruby Slipper: located in downtown it can stay pretty busy but is a New Orleans classic! -George Bistro + Bar: elevated brunch spot but amazing food and a seasonal rotating menu! -Bagelheads: every bagel you can imagine and breakfast sandwiches - one of our favorites as well!
-Hub Stacey's Downtown: great sandwiches! -Jaco's Bayfront Bar & Grille: we actually went here after Austin proposed, has a great view of the bay and great food! -Graffiti Pizza on Palafox: quick and easy pizza located in the heart of downtown off Palafox -The Burrow: usually has fun cocktails and an interesting seasonal menu! -The Dog House: again off Palafox in heart of downtown - fun hot dogs and other menu items
-Union Public House: is a little more elevated of a menu but is delicious! -Bonelli's: great Italian food but we recommend you call before heading over as they are often extremely busy and sometimes reservation only! -McGuire's Irish Pub: can often be busy but is a Pensacola staple! -The Fish House: another one with great views of the bay! -The Garden at Palafox + Main: has rotating food trucks for different options and Perrenial Bar (try the frozen Lemonade cocktail if they have it!)
-Flounder's Chowder House: we actually went here for our first date - it is a favorite! -The Wharf Fish & Oyster Company: newer restaurant on the boardwalk has an awesome outside bar and great food! -Drift/Casino Beach Bar & Grille: Drift is on top of Casino Beach Bar and is a more elevated dining option while Casino Beach Bar & Grille is more casual - both delicious! -The Grand Marlin: another more elevated dining option but great views! -Bounce Beach Pensacola: another newer option but has brunch, lunch and dinner options!
