Semi-formal: knee-length or midi dresses, stylish jumpsuits, or tailored suits with dress shirts (ties optional). What to avoid: Jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers. Floor-length ball gowns (too formal). Overly casual attire (flip-flops, shorts).
