Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Elissa Weisz and Walt Williams
We're so excited to welcome you to Washington State and celebrate together in Anacortes. Whether you're coming for a quick trip or making a full vacation out of it, we can't wait for you to experience this special place with us! WHAT TO EXPECT Anacortes has a relaxed, costal feel with lots of waterfront views, fresh ocean air, and long summer days. In July, you can expect warm, sunny weather during the day, with cooler breezes in the evenings. We highly recommend bringing layers! We recommend renting a car if you're able, even if you take a shuttle to Skagit Valley and rent a car once you get here. Downtown Anacortes is very walkable, but some of the best sights (like Deception Pass and Washington Park) are a short drive away. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are limited, so planning ahead is helpful. Parking throughout town is generally easy and free. Below are some of our favorites spots and activities to help you make the most of your time in Washington!
