We met in 2018 through a mutual friend. We didn’t think much of it at the time as we didn’t live close and only saw each other every few months. After a few years of casual group events, (and secretly crushing on each other) we decided to hang out just the two of us and within a few months we were in love 🤍

It was a July evening, and we were over at his parents' house spending time with his family from out of town. After dinner, Tyler suggested we go for a walk in the park behind his parents' home. We walked along for a few minutes, and we came to a small bridge over a creek. I felt Tyler pull away and when I turned around, he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen! After an easy "YES," we walked back to the house and unknowingly to me, Tyler's family had decorated the back deck with flowers and a cake as they had known the plan the entire time! It was a such a beautiful moment and truly a surprise.
