Things To Do

Throughout the region, there are lots of hiking/walking options. Cowan’s Gap is a great State Park with lots of trails of varying difficulty (including a paved path), bathrooms, and a large lake that is home to a pair of bald eagles. This is a must see if you're in the area. If your travels take you closer to Chambersburg, Caledonia State Park also offers lots of great hiking.
Berkeley Springs – Voted Top 10 “Small Historic Towns in the US” by USA Today. Antiquing, hot springs, a Sunday farmer's market, Cacapon State Park, a cat sanctuary, and good restaurants make this a cute weekend stay.
Chambersburg – A regional hub full of big box stores and minimal charm. If you find yourself there, we recommend the Old Jail Museum and farmers’ markets.
Greencastle – Quaint town with boutiques and antique shops.
Antiquing is big throughout the region. A fun activity on Saturday morning may be a local auction (more info to come).
Gettysburg National Battlefield – Just an hour away!
