Travel
We will be married at the Peninsula Room in Traverse City, Michigan (https://www.peninsularoom.com/peninsula-room-wedding). The venue is a 15 minute drive from downtown Traverse City and has plenty of parking space if you want to drive yourself.
Hotels in Traverse City do not offer event blocking in the middle of tourism season, so we do not have a single suggested hotel. We will be staying at the Cherry Tree Inn & Suites and there are dozens of other hotels and resorts along US-31 N and elsewhere in Traverse City to choose from. We will provide shuttle transportation between TC and the wedding venue for the ceremony and reception, with routes and stops TBD.
Flight
Cherry Capital Airport
TVC airport is a short 15 minute drive away from downtown Traverse City. It has regular flights connecting to major airports in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Boston, and Denver. Other good alternatives would be to fly into Detroit Metroit Airport (DTW, 4 hour drive from Traverse City) or O'Hare (ORD, 5 hour drive from Traverse City) and then drive up.
