“Our story began at Southern University A&M College, and it was an unexpected yet perfect start. Mutual friends had a hand in our introduction, setting up a meeting neither of us saw coming. One Wednesday, as I climbed into my friend’s car on the way to church, there he was—sitting there, waiting. That day unfolded like fate: after a beautiful service, we enjoyed a lively meal together at Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, where we first truly connected. Our first official date came soon after, in 2019, at a cozy crawfish restaurant. There, over a shared meal and laughter, we realized there was something truly special between us. Now, five years later, our bond has only deepened, and we look forward to all that lies ahead together.”
