We're getting married!

We saw each other across a field at our university's introduction week... we made eye contact... and the rest was history! Welllll....maybe it wasn't quite that smooth... You know what they say - First comes school, then comes dating, then comes graduation.... then comes working and long distance dating... and then comes marriage?? Or maybe that's not how the saying goes? We're just joking, but 9 years later (almost exactly to the day of meeting!) we are finally tying the knot!

(Hi, Eliška here!) As many of you know, skiing is one of my favorite things to do, and we try to take a ski trip every year. This year in the Austrian Alps, they were taking a break, enjoying the sun and the stunning scenery, when Dan decided it would be the perfect time and place to get on one knee! It was perfect for us :) Later as we were getting ready to leave our resting spot, a Swedish family came by and asked us to take their picture. We said sure, of course. Then they asked if they could return the favor? Dan said, yes please! It would be perfect because we just got engaged! Little did we know - the parents of this family also got engaged on the very same ski slope, only 30 years earlier! Isn't life sweet sometimes? <3

We have been visiting the island every year for the past seven years and we love it so much we keep coming back! We wanted everyone to experience what we love so much about the island- good weather, beautiful water, good food and amazing views! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We know it is a big ask to have people come all the way to Spain for our wedding, and we understand if you can't make it! We will also have a videochat / livestream set up on the big day so you can still celebrate with us virtually :)
