What is the dress code?
Answer
We ask that all guests follow the theme of: Summer Black Tie Formal, dress to impress! Please avoid wearing dark colours and shades of white. Ladies: Floor-length gowns requested, fascinators and gloves encouraged. Gentlemen: Three-piece suits or tuxedo’s requested. We would love our guests to go all out and have fun! Please be advised, if all is well with the weather, the ceremony will be outdoors.

When should I RSVP by and how?
Answer
Please RSPV no later than 01.05.2026. You can RSVP directly through this website under the 'RSVP' heading on the homepage OR by emailing Elisia & Jack directly on jackandelisiaswedding@gmail.com listing who will be attending and who will not. If you do not RSVP on time, regrettably, we will no longer be able to accommodate you as we would have confirmed numbers with our vendors.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an ‘unplugged ceremony’ (no phones or cameras). We ask all phones be switched off or turned to silent for the duration of the ceremony. The greatest gift you could give us is being fully present as we say ‘I do’. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and the last thing we want is any phones or cameras blocking the photographer and videographer. We promise to share photos and videos as soon as we can. After the ceremony, you can take as many pictures and videos as you wish!

Are children welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event, with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this day as an opportunity for time together as a couple or with friends!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one, they will be listed on your invitation. Please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding an intimate celebration. Thank you for understanding.

Do we have a wedding registry?
Answer
Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is present enough! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our wishing well for our honeymoon would be much appreciated. What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm. Please arrive NO later than 20 minutes before the ceremony. Any empty seats will be taken away 15 minutes before the ceremony. Most of our lovely guests will be travelling 1-2 hours to the venue on the day if not staying the night before. Please be prepared to avoid any traffic issues! We thank you for making the travel to celebrate with us.

Is there parking on-site?
Answer
There is parking on-site at Somerley House although, we do encourage you to take a taxi or Uber to the venue. However, if you do decide to drive, please do not park in the driveway of the venue. The parking is just off to the right of the venue and is sign-posted, you should see our cars there already!
