FAQs

Question

What is a Nuptial Mass?

Answer

A Nuptial Mass is a Catholic wedding ceremony celebrated within the context of a regular Mass. It includes the traditional exchange of vows and rings, along with prayers, Scripture readings, and Holy Communion. For us as Catholics, the sacrament of marriage is deeply significant and meaningful. We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant in which a couple is joined together by God and strengthened by His grace to live out a lifelong vocation of love, fidelity, and service. Guests of all faith backgrounds are warmly welcome.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. Our wedding ceremony will take place during a Catholic Mass and we kindly ask guests to dress respectfully for a church setting. Women should wear dresses with covered shoulders (a shawl or wrap works well) and knee-length or longer dresses or skirts. Please avoid low-cut, sheer, or backless outfits. Men should wear a suit and tie. We ask that no shorts, hats, or casual clothing be worn in the church. Thank you for helping us honor the sacred setting.

Question

What time should we arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. We warmly welcome and encourage you to arrive 15–30 minutes early to be seated and settled before the ceremony begins. Free parking will be available behind the church in the Midtown Apartments parking garage. Please park in the spots reserved for church parking.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our wonderful team of photographers and videographers will capture all the special moments so you can be fully present with us. You are very much welcome and encouraged to take and share photos during the reception!
