"Your soulmate is probably the last person who gave you a bad drive." That’s how our love story began. Who would’ve thought that a minor inconvenience—a bad drive in the middle of an ordinary week—would intentionally lead me straight to my future husband? In true Gen Z style, he slid into my DMs, responding to that ridiculous Note, and somehow flirted his way into my life. Bit by bit, he broke through the walls that fortified my heart, expanding my capacity to love in ways I never imagined. From the outside it may have looked easy, but our relationship is molded by intentionality and rooted in our love for Jesus. I thank God for his gift to me, the answer to my prayers, my sweet boy - Shak (E'Lisha's Version)
It was 2 months of manipulation and lies (Lord forgive me.) I created a group with some of her closest friends and my most trusted co-conspirators. We gaslit her into having a "Galentine's" dinner in February, (she thought it was her idea) so that we can lay the foundation for the Proposal a month later, disguised as another "Galentine's" dinner. Secretly setting this up, sneakily speaking to church members to enlist their services at events while her attention was elsewhere. Also sending my co-conspirators to speak to any person to whom I would look suspicious speaking. On the day, after church I fled home and I called her pretending to log into my work computer. When she left to get ready, I sped to the location and waited for everything to fall into place. It was my best work if i do say so myself. -Shak
