Where will the ceremony be held?
Answer
Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors on the beautiful Skamania Lodge grounds, with the reception to follow in a covered area just a quick walk away. Please dress comfortably for a Spring day in the Pacific Northwest!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We kindly ask that guests dress in formal or black-tie optional attire. Think elegant gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, or tuxedos — in keeping with our timeless and sophisticated setting. Keep in mind that the venue has several gravel and grassy areas, so ensure that you wear shoes that accomodate those conditions.

Are there accommodations at the venue?

Absolutely! We highly encourage you to book a night or two at our venue, Skamania Lodge. Please visit the Skamania website and use code 1yx2d2 for 10% off your stay. Feel free to text the bride or groom for any questions about the property or rooms.

When should I book my accommodation?
Answer
We recommend booking your stay anytime after June 29th, 2025. The sooner you are able to book your stay, you will be more likely receive a better rate. Reminder to use the wedding party booking code for 10% off! We have also listed a few other near by and Portland options on our travel page.

What is there to do around the property?
Answer
There is a TON of fun and activities around the lodge. We recommend you check out the "Things To Do" page, but we highly recommend mini golfing, swimming, exploring the spa, or venturing out to the Gorge for a quick hike. The Groom used to be a tour guide, so feel free to text him for some additional recommendations!

Where can I park?
Answer
The lodge has a very large parking lot at the front of the property where you can park at all day and evening for no cost.

Is transportation provided to and from the venue?
Answer
Because everything will take place at Skamania Lodge, no additional transportation will be needed once you arrive. If you're staying elsewhere, please plan accordingly for travel to the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
If your invitation includes a plus one, their name will appear on the envelope. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only those listed attend.

Are kids allowed to attend the wedding?
Answer
Although we love all of the kiddos, we respectively ask to keep our evening adults only. We encourage you to use our celebration as fun date night!

What's on the menu?
Answer
We will offer an array of appetizer options, followed by a dinner buffet that will have meat, seafood, and vegan choices available.

Is there an open bar?
Answer
The bride and groom will be covering all wine, beer, cider, seltzer, and NA options. For those who prefer hard liquor, there will be a bar available with cocktails for purchase.
